AECOM Construction Technician II in St. Louis, Missouri

AECOM is seeking an experienced construction technician to oversee municipal infrastructure construction projects. The projects are located in St. Louis, MO and will include, but are not limited to sanitary sewer and storm sewer upgrades and maintenance repairs. The duties and responsibilities will include:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Observe contactors activities and compare to the project plans to evaluate work performed and materials used.
Verifying quality of workmanship, material quantities and quality.
Prepare daily reports and note any contractor deficiencies with the plants.
Review contactor’s QC reports, if required, for any discrepancies.
Observe contractors QC Testing, if required.
Communicate with project team (AECOM and client contact) on project schedule.
Ensure contractor follows project specifications related to all aspects of work completed.
Prepare and verify contractor’s monthly pay applications related to assigned projects.
Ability to investigate and address customer issues.
High School Diploma
Ability to independently travel to project sites within St. Louis or surrounding areas with flexibility, as per diem is not available on these projects.
2+ years of relevant experience
Good communication skills
Valid state issued driver’s license
Associates degree or higher in relevant field.
5-10 years of experience with municipal infrastructure construction projects
OSHA 10 hr Certification
Current CPR Certification
