Aerotek Electrical Engineer in St. Louis, Missouri

An Aerotek client is seeking a Controls/Electrical Engineer to join their team for a long term opportunity. This client is a global consumer products company offering a broad portfolio of leading brands focused on driving innovation and providing exceptional customer service. The Company is a leading supplier of residential lock sets, residential builder's hardware, personal care products, specialty pet supplies and much more.

Qualifications:

  • B.S in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • 7 years of experience within Electrical Controls

  • Expert a improving automated production lines for install

  • Mechanically competent, but also have an understanding of controls and programming

  • Knowledge of PLCs, specifically Allen-Bradley PLCs is a huge plus (SLC 500, CompactLogix, and ContolLogix systems)

Performance:

  • Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the automated production lines for install.

  • Capable of analyzing a production line's and developing plans to correct them.

  • Perform controls and programming - PLCs, specifically Allen-Bradley PLCs

  • Utilize SLC 500, CompactLogix, and ContolLogix systems
