Technical support leader for beverage can manufacturing frontend equipment and processes (bodymakers, trimmers)
Technical support to close chronic KPI/PI or critical special cause gaps – SDCA & PDCA
Technical support for major equipment rebuilds/overhauls (Capital)
Technical support for strategic expansion projects (Capital)
Drive and manage strategic value engineering initiatives
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma implementation
Identify and transfer best practices between facilities
Troubleshoot and resolve quality problems
Develop/evaluate new equipment designs/upgrades
Support/evaluate can forming technologies
Develop plans and direct trials for new products and manufacturing technologies
BS Degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred)
8 years of post degree experience including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong technical and problem solving skills
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change
