Job Type/Schedule This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location This position is for the Evaluation Center. The position is located at Goldfarb Hall. This position is for the Danforth Campus. Essential Functions POSITION SUMMARY: The evaluation coordinator will oversee several projects. Primary position responsibilities include contributing to the project design and managing the day-to-day activities of the projects. Management activities include serving as a liaison with the project sites, supervising project staff or students, coordinating evaluation activities, overseeing and conducting data collection and analyses, and developing of reports and other products. The coordinator may travel out of state a few times per year. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manage Evaluation Projects * Oversee research and evaluation projects development, and writing to meet project deliverables. * Manage data collection (quantitative & qualitative), content development, including development of tools and protocols and data analysis plans. * Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis with team members. * Actively disseminate project findings: prepare summaries, reports, manuscripts, and other dissemination products. 2. Project Coordination * Manage, develop, and coordinate all project activities and serve as the primary contact for external partners. * Prepare regular progress reports and final reports for funding agencies and partners. * Manage budgetary expenditures in cooperation with financial manager. * Develop and implement project timelines. 3. Supervise project staff – manage and oversee work of research assistants (staff and students). 4. Assist in grant development and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, social sciences, or public policy and two years’ experience or a Master’s degree. * Experience analyzing data (qualitative/quantitative). * Experience in evaluation design and implementation. Preferred Qualifications * Master’s degree and one year experience in a research setting. * Supervisory experience. * Understanding and knowledge of evaluation and research methods. * Demonstrated superior writing and editing skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including faculty, staff, and the non-profit sector. * Familiarity with data visualization and layout and design skills. * Strong analytic skills and the ability to think strategically and programmatically. * Ability to represent the project effectively with scholars, students, and community partners. * Ability to work independently and exercise outstanding judgment. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a complex organizational environment. * Ability to manage the projects budget and resources. Salary Range The hiring range for this position is $38,161 - $51,499 annually.
