Description:

Anderson-Negele’s Service team invites applications for a full-time, Midwest Field Service & Calibration Technician.

The Field Service Technician calibrates and troubleshoots Anderson Instrumentation while in service at the customer's facility (this is an off-site position). The successful candidate develops their territory and is responsible for its growth and profitability while gathering valuable V.O.C (voice of the customer) and supporting sales efforts. Field Service Technicians must travel extensively throughout their territory. ( 90% by company vehicle ).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform field calibration, troubleshooting and repair services on all Anderson products .

  • Establish customer loyalty and grow business within territory.

  • Operate/conduct business profitably within territory

  • Gather and submit V.O.C. to support sales growth and product development teams.

  • Identify and capture sales leads supporting aggressive sales growth goals

  • Document and report service performed, including billing and expense reports.

  • Maintain service vehicle to ensure all applicable state and federal laws are adhered to.

Qualifications:

Minimum AAS-2 year technical degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent, and 2 plus years of technical service experience required, preferably in control systems. Ability to read blue prints/technical drawings; sanitary process knowledge and understanding preferred; control systems understanding and basic electrical knowledge strongly preferred; demonstrated ability to work independently and remote from main office; strong interpersonal communication, analytical, and problem solving skills, and strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
