The Alternate Delivery Formulation Platform is seeking a talented Formulation and Delivery summer intern. With the guidance from a mentor and a manager, the intern will manage one major summer project on her/his own. The intern is expected to assess technical feasibility of potential formulations and identify formulation-related challenges such physical and chemical stability or safety considerations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and provide technically solid recommendations based on research work

  • Interface and coordinate activities with a multi-disciplinary team to enable data driven evaluation, development and advancement of formulation candidates

  • Provide diverse audience with updates through presentations and technical reports

Dates for this summer internships are May 13- August 2 of 2019.


  • Current MS or PhD level student at a university within the US majoring in Chemistry or a closely related discipline

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

  • Strong learning aptitude and agility

  • Demonstrated innovation and critical thinking skills

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to independently define and execute critical studies, and develop and communicate recommendation

  • upon completion of this internship, must be returning to school to continue program of study or to begin an advanced degree in the fall
