Monsanto Genome-Phenome Modeling Scientist in ST. LOUIS, Missouri

The position will be based in St. Louis at our corporate headquarters.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, breeders, and data engineers to provide data-driven solutions to business problems.
Understand the core scientific questions and develop methodology for the integrative usage of genomic, phenomic and environment data.
Develop novel methods for integrated analysis of genotype by environment.
Build effective relationships and partnerships with internal customers and stakeholders.
A PhD with a track record of productivity in the areas of statistical genetics, statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, applied mathematics, or a relevant scientific field.
Demonstrated experience using machine learning/AI, or statistical methodology to solve research problems.
Exposure to computational biology, bioinformatics, or genomics.
A strong scientific track record, as evidenced by published or accepted papers.
Ability to rapidly learn new problem domains, and good decision-making and judgement skills.
Ability to work in a large team as well as independently.
Mathematical or statistical modeling in biological data.
Knowledge of crop production system
Proven ability to communicate complex analytical problems in clear, precise and actionable manner.
