IBM Global Asset Recovery Sales (GARS) Product Analyst - NY/TriState in St Louis, Missouri

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Global Asset Recovery Sales (GARS) Product Analyst is the liason between GARS sellers and the manufacturing/refurbishment centers and manages all reconfiguration requirements for GARS sales. The Product Analyst maintains a thorough understanding of hardware product knowledge, including current older, configuration compatibility, features and parts content, and product life cycle trends. The Product Analyst is assigned a subset of hardware products to manage in support of GARS internal and external sales.

Activities associated with this role include identification of supply, configurations and technical know how regarding upgrade/downgrade capability, technical substitutions, order fulfillment processes, and cost management. Box selection for sales orders is a key element of this responsibility; ensuring the appropriate technology match to order requirements as well as inventory optimization. This position is accountable for refurbished/remanufactured product quality and customer satisfaction as well as attainment of financial inventory objectives and non-Base Manufacturing Cost.

The successful candidate should reside in New York/TriState area.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

  • At least 5 years of experience in STG Hardware Product Knowledge

  • At least 5 years of experience in Order Fulfillment Knowledge

  • At least 5 years of experience in GARS Remanufacturing Operations
