GQA supports global seed manufacturing with exclusive technology- their mission is to know EXACTLY what is in each bag of seed that is genetically modified and shipped from the company.
COMPLETED Associate or Bachelor Degree ( preferably from a scientific-related degree)
Someone with experience in a fast paced and/or team based environments
something like restaurant staff, retail, etc.
Varietal Purity- testing using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP); a DNA based test
Trait Purity- protein based testing determined using Enzyme Linked Immuno-sorbent Assays (ELISA)
Adventitious Presence test is performed on corn and soy to ensure the freedom to operate of their commercial seed production and development of new Biotechnology Traits.
Employee will perform laboratory tasks such as dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, grinding, reagent preparation, and other routine laboratory tasks to support these different types of genetic testing.
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Will be required to assist in the operation of equipment for the purpose of data generation.
Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, ordering and stocking.
Contract: 3 Month Contract
intended to be ongoing. This position oftentimes keeps people on contract for multiple years. The way the company draws up their agreement requires renewal every 3 months, but this is common and offered to any candidate achieving the goals set before them.
Location: Creve Coeur, MO (further details provided upon application)
1st Shift : 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon - Fri)
2nd Shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Mon - Fri)
Some overtime/weekend work will be available and may be required on occasion

Lab technician, Chemistry, Biology, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, lab skills, pipetting, aespetic technique
