The Advance Planning Group (APG) within Jacobs is a premier provider of facility planning/programming and consulting services to a variety of government, institutional, military, and corporate clients. These services include feasibility studies, project development studies, design guidelines, facility master plans, workplace strategies, visioning sessions, portfolio strategies, and real estate advisory services meant to enhance our clients’ business efficiencies. APG includes professionals within three specific service lines - Facility Strategies, Urban Design and Planning, and Visual Media. The APG team includes facility programmers, architects, interior designers, engineers, business analysts, workplace strategists, planners, landscape architects, graphic designers, and other related disciplines.
This position works directly under the Senior Consultant, planning and organizing the research and analysis activities associated with client projects and presentations.
Specialized technical staff responsible for production of content as well as adding to and enhancing Visual Media Group's capabilities. These roles would include positions such as 3D Modeler/Environmental Designer, 2D/3D Compositor, 2D/Motion Graphic Designer, Scripter/Programmer (HTML, MaxScript, ActionScript, etc.) and Soundtrack Editor.
Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Graphic Design or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eagerness to take on new challenges required
Knowledge and/or previous experience with the following programs preferred: Autodesk 3dsmax, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk InfraWorks, Chaos Group VRay, iTooSoft Forest Pro/Rail Clone, Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, Trimble SketchUp
