US Foods Operations Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description:

Basic Purpose-


Communicate withinternal and external customers. Respond to inquiries and telephonecalls. Respond to requests by researching information. Authorizedto make decisions on routine matters as delegated by the supervisor. Refer problems to supervisor/manager for resolution.

Prepare and processforms and documents, such as time sheets, requisitions, purchase orders,DVIR's, shipping labels, etc. following standard procedures.

Collect, track and inputdata relative to Operations metrics. (including but not limited to:shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time)

Maintain files, recordkeeping activities and confidential data.

Create and maintainbasic charts, graphs, spreadsheets and databases. Prepare summary informationfor manager's review. Prepare and update recurring and routine internalreports, collect and verify data.

Check documents foraccuracy and completeness, cross reference information.

Verify information anddata for compliance with regulations and procedures.

Monitor inventory levelsof office supplies; initiate purchase orders as necessary.

Maintain scheduling forOperations Conference Room, as well as beverages and snacks.



High school diploma orequivalent.


4 years clericalexperience required, preferably in an office/distribution environment.


Must be able to refer todocumentation or manuals/guidelines to resolve issues and have a basicfoundation of process to provide some general assistance. Must have goodcomputer skills; mainframe downloads; report generation; data entry and wordprocessing skills. Must be able to resolve a variety of issues/topics ofmoderately complex routine nature with some independence.
