Our Core Purpose is "We help our people get back to their lives". The part time production technician works with our Fire Restoration Team to restore our customers' contents, pack out belongings after a fire, perform on site structure cleans. Primary responsibilities include cleaning and deodorizing contents or structure that were affected by soot, water, mold, or other damage using specialized equipment, techniques, and solutions to restore to pre-loss condition. The Contents Tech also assists with the inventory of contents, preparing contents for storage, packing customers' contents, content manipulation / vaulting, completion of productivity tracking paperwork and daily facility maintenance responsibilities. All Fire Restoration Team Members must adhere to policies and procedures regarding remediation, as well as, EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling.
Detail cleaning and deodorization of contents or structure using specialized equipment, supplies, and techniques.
Perform work in a thorough and efficient manner to ensure quality work product and minimal damages while consistently attaining established productivity goals.
Utilize ICAT Inventory system to track boxed contents and hard items from unload, cleaning, deodorization, and storage processes.
Partner with Fire Restoration Crew Chiefs and Project Managers on non-cleanables, damages, and opportunities for process improvement.
Assist with manipulation of customer's contents including: pack out, vaulting, move backs, etc.
Pro-active and timely communication is critical.
Prior Education/Experience: Sustained employment in prior positions with positive job references, Restoration or professional cleaning service experience ideal, but not required. Involvement in volunteer / community service work, church, or school activities is a plus. High School Diploma or GED required
