Principal Clinical Content Writer
The Principal Clinical Content Writer will support in executing the vision for clinical information to support Lumeris’ corporate clinical strategy. This role focuses on the creation, support, review, and management of clinical information through research, writing, and reviewing. In addition, this individual will leverage their research, writing, and project management skills to support marketed products and clinical projects across the organization. A key element of this role is the ability to serve as a clinical resource on cross-functional teams and interface regularly with key leaders from across the organization.
Search and analyze the medical literature to identify relevant best clinical practices and practice redesign strategies
Apply literature evaluation skills to evaluate and analyze clinical data, draw appropriate conclusions, and synthesize actionable recommendations
Develop expertise on a wide variety of clinical topics related to value-based care through developing familiarity with the clinical literature
Use writing skills and subject matter expertise to develop clinical content (e.g., documents, reports, presentations, programs, pathways) that supports critical areas of the business
Health plan operations
Sales, marketing, and communications
Others, as required
Provide accurate clinical and technical information
Work with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of clinical information to end users
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
Participate in project team meetings
Complete other duties as assigned
An advanced clinical degree with 3-5 years of clinical practice experience or equivalent is required
Pharmacist with a Pharm.D. (≥ 1 year of post-doctoral residency/fellowship preferred)
Proficient knowledge of the standard of medical care for common conditions, clinical research study design, and literature evaluation

Formal clinical writing experience preferred
