Bull Moose Industries Process Engineer in St. Louis, Missouri

BULL MOOSE TUBE COMPANY, a progressive organization dedicated to providing valuable, high quality products to profitably satisfy the needs of our customers, has an opportunity for an energetic, results focused Process Engineer to be a key contributor to the company's initiatives with the opportunity for upward career growth. The position is based in our Corporate Offices in Chesterfield, MO (just West of St. Louis) and significant travel is expected.

*Duties: *

Execute Corporate and Plant based Process and Quality Improvement Projects

Provide CI leadership and mentorship to cross functional team members

Lead company-wide, including Corporate, ISO compliance and audits

Develop deep understanding of existing process and procedures

Identify process improvement projects with support of plant managers and senior supervisors

Assist in meeting EBITA targets by removing cost from existing processes

Evaluate project effectiveness through proper metrics, monitoring and reporting


Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (ME, EE, or CE)

A minimum of 5 years work experience in process engineering

3 plus years' experience leading PI projects

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt is a preferred

Solid back ground in project management

Demonstrable experience with at least 3 of the following: Design of Experiments, D/P FMEA, Process Capability Studies, Value Stream Mapping, & Cycle/Takt time studies

Working knowledge of Minitab, Visio, Auto Cad, etc...

NDT experience is a plus

Tube industry experience is a plus
