Monsanto Process Engineer in ST. LOUIS, Missouri
Process Engineer for Chesterfield, MO to develop & improve product and manufacturing processes for Seeds and Traits Business; design research programs & testing methods to evaluate processes and ensure quality; analyze & plan workflow, space and equipment layout; calculate production, labor & material costs; review production schedules; prepare product & process reports; define & document process parameters; ensure process compliance with regulatory requirements; develop maintenance procedures; define systems to enable optimum process design & control.
Requires Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or closely-related field & 1 yr experience applying quality engineering principles; performing design of experiments; developing statistical models in R, JMP & Minitab; forecasting reliability & accelerated failure modes; working with manufacturing process analysis & machine learning tools; modeling spatio-temporal high dimensional datasets using multivariate & stepwise regression; modeling time series datasets, including statistical process control, screening, factorial & response surface designs; and using R, Matlab and/or Minitab for modeling and analysis.
