Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell Intelligrated's production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.
Lead plant final assembly line
Directly supervise production operators
Drive productivity improvements
Drive culture of continuous improvement
Resource management in dynamic environment
Review quality output and coach team improvements
Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of supervisory or management experience with a mechanical or electrical background
Need to understand mechanical/electrical blueprints & engineering schematics
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
2 year associates degree
Some relevant manufacturing experience
Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment
Conveys information with clarity and directness
Some relevant leadership experience
Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office (outlook, powerpoint, word, excel)
Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done & ability to lead and inspire a team
Knowledge of machinery & how it works throughout shop
Oracle experience preferred or other MRP/ERP systems
Prior experience in union environment is a plus
Strong time management ability
Prior experience in Kronos is a plus
