Summary:

Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking a part-time Program Manager III to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Division of Pharmaceutical Analysis (DPA). TheProgram Manager IIIwill develop laboratory technical processes to assure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained and qualified at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Identifying classes of equipment that can be qualified by similar processes.

  • Collecting historical information on issues that may need to be addressed through the quality processes related to equipment qualification and maintenance.

  • Coordinating the work of technical subject matter experts to define user requirements for instrumentation so that qualification processes will address user requirements.

  • Review, format, track, and coordinate written maintenance and qualification procedures that will be written by technical subject matter experts, property custodians, DPA management, and DPA Quality Assurance Specialists.

  • Keep record of meetings, consultations, actions, and work products associated with this task order.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • BA/BS and preferred 15 years of experience. PMP preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of project managementexperience in an analytical chemistry laboratory environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in analytical chemistry instrumentation, including but not limited to chromatography, particle characterization, spectroscopy, and other general chemistry instrumentation.

  • Experience in ISO 17025 requirements with emphasis on equipment maintenance and qualification.

  • Experience in establishing project plans, managing and organizing timelines and deliverables.
