Ross & Baruzzini Inc. Project Manager in St. Louis, Missouri

Title: Project Manager

Market: Government

Location: St. Louis

Manages Ross & Baruzzini’s Government Group services and administers projects as the firm’s single source of contact from initial project inception through completion.

  • Client development, maintenance, and management

  • Serve as liaison between Client and internal team to manage and communicate objectives, opportunities, and issues to deliver a successful project. This includes written project documentation during all phases of the project (Design and Construction).Be a proactive resource to project teams in their decision making processes and in the development of technically sound and innovative planning and design solutions

  • Represent the firm by attending meetings and presentations

  • Collaborate with Director of Operations on resource management for assigned projects

  • Assure technical quality of projects is achieved and enforce application of quality assurance/quality control process standards and requirements

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to staff

  • Compiling and writing fee proposals and participating in project interviews. Initiate or assist in contract preparation and negotiation

  • Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects, including achieving project profitability with parameters specified by the firm and targeted for each project

  • Effectively plan, organize, communicate and maintain schedule for all disciplines, establishing critical project objectives and performances

  • Effectively maintain project planning and budgeting reports and dashboard in Deltek Vision

  • Collaborate with project accountants to monitor financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, invoicing, and timely collection

  • Travel 10-15%

  • Minimum 8+ years related technical Consulting Engineering or project management experience in designing Government facilities

  • Self-driven individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad area of assignments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relate field from an accredited curriculum

  • Professional Engineer License
