Thermo Fisher Scientific QC Lab Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Primary responsibilities include maintaining raw materials, supplies and equipment for QC Labs.

Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies for all groups. Make sure PRs are placed before the end of each day.

Help with quotes and following up on current POs.

Assist with receipt of material and stocking the main storage room. Organization and Inventory skills are required.

Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean lab environment.

Ensure all equipment is tracked and maintained according to the SAP calibration and preventative maintenance system. Issue work notifications as needed.

Track all outside vendor maintenance performed on lab instruments.

Deliver Haz Waste from Labs to EHS twice per week.

Clean Glassware for the labs as needed.

Required Experience:

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a laboratory.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical or related industry background

Use of Microsoft Office Applications of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word

SAP or other ERP/MRP systems

Ariba Experience a plus

Ability to work with minimal supervision
