Essential Functions
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides general assistance to a research laboratory that studies sleep. Performs routine tests with direction from the supervisor, manager or higher-level technician.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain drosophila stocks, assist with various behavioral and biological assays, prepare solutions, and collect and assist in analysis of data.
- Maintain complete and organized records/reports.
- Perform general lab maintenance and cleaning.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college.
- Working knowledge of computer software.
Salary Range
The hiring range for this position is $13.80 - $15.97 per hour.
