Professionals in the Sales Enablement discipline are responsible for ensuring both sales teams and individuals possess the skills, knowledge, process expertise and access to assets to optimize every buyer interaction.
Sales Enablement professionals provide the bridge between the teams that produce products and the sellers.
This means that they work with some of the most modern IBM technologies and can control how they are positioned to help clients understand the business value and return on investment, as well as showing sellers the opportunity to earn sales commission.
Successful candidates will earn the respect from both Developers and Sellers by correctly positioning and assisting with key products in the market, and keeping sellers focused on the areas that matter most in order to meet IBM's short term and strategic goals
In the Software Sales Enablement Professional role you will be partnering with sales leaders to understand business goals, strategic initiatives, and key revenue driving product and solution offerings
Creating and executing enablement activities that are target specifically for the different types of IBM Z Software Sellers
Actively participate in and support Worldwide Sellers in helping them to prospect for opportunities and close deals faster
Identifying Sales Collateral and other Sales content needed to support execution plans.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to creating and curating content assets, coordinating delivery of assets through appropriate delivery vehicles.
Managing content repositories and communication tools, and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need
Maintaining regular communication with sales teams to ensure awareness of enablement activities, level of execution, impact on business results, and requirements to optimize plans
Preparing and presenting results and insights pertaining to enablement plan performance during operational reviews
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years experience in Software Sales Enablement
3+ years in sales, marketing or offering management
Strong strategic planning ability
Proven ability to deliver long/short-term sales activation strategies and tactical plans
Knowledge and experience in content management and sales enablement tools and technology
Skilled in analyzing, documenting and communicating complex data - written and verbal.
Comfortable leading Market enablement webinars and events
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
5+ years experience in IBM Z Software
